Welcome to the sculptor’s workshop

Albert’s workshop is part and parcel of our hotel, where stone pine is the undisputed star of the show. A precious wood which, thanks to Albert’s expert hands, turns into religious sculptures to be placed in churches or works of art for private commissions.

Ciastel Colz

The origin of Ciastel Colz goes back to the 16th century when Hans von Rubatsch was authorised by Emperor Ferdinand I to build a home in La Villa. The castle still stands to this very day, boasting two square and two round towers, a sight for sore eyes overlooking the village.
